This project was birthed as a result of a desire to go outdoors to photograph, but thinking the conditions were not ideal because of days of consistent rain.

I decided to grab my camera and rain gear, head outside, and photograph anyway.

It did not take long for me to find my “flow” (I know that my fellow artists can identify with that feeling) and create images that made me smile.

As our art continues to mirror our lives, I learned the lesson to put myself out there even when conditions are not “perfect”.

This project taught me the beauty of finding my joy in the Rain.
